At some point you will likely see an email from Zoom about reaching your cloud storage limit. After you’ve received a call recap from Heyday, you can safely delete the recorded call from Zoom without losing any information in Heyday.

We only delete your data when you delete your Heyday account.

To reduce the number of emails you receive from Zoom about running out of storage, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Zoom’s Settings.
  2. Click Recording at the top of the page.
  3. Scroll down the page to the header ‘Delete cloud recordings after a specified number of days’, currently located near the bottom of Recording Settings.
  4. Toggle the option on, and set your time range to 14 days.

It will look like this:

<aside> ⚠️ Note — We do not recommend adjusting other recording settings in Zoom! Heyday has set the default settings to ensure you receive meeting recaps after each of your calls. Do not disable audio-only files for each participant, as they enable us to provide you with accurate speaker information and detailed call stats.
